It’s the 40th Year anniversary of the Yorkes Surfing Classic.
The event will be held on the 19th of August run by the Yorkes Junior Club and supported by Surfing South Australia. Event entries are open on the Surfing South Australia website. All event announcements including competition venue, start times, and other event information will be announced on the Yorkes Junior Club Facebook page as well as Surfing SA socials (Instagram and Facebook).
All past competitors, winners, organisers, sponsors, and supporters are invited to the 40th celebration event to be held on Saturday the 19th of August in the Stenhouse Bay Hall from 6 pm.
Food will be available, surf movies (featuring the Yorkes Classic), music and the 2023 presentation. Come and help us enjoy reflecting on a significant part of South Australia’s surf history.
Any Yorkes Classic memorabilia, photos etc can be displayed on the night.
