The 2024 Surfing SA AGM will be held on Tuesday 26 November 2024 at 6:30 pm at the Moana Surf lifesaving Club.
Afterwards all are invited to join us for drinks at the bar.
Nominations are open for the Surfing SA Board (Note nominations must be submited 15 days prior to the meeting)
Nominees must be current financial Ordinary Members of the Association (Non-financial life members are not eligible for election).
The responsibilities of the board are:
- Encourage, promote, advance, and administer the Sport throughout South Australia
- Arrange, conduct, and regulate competitions in the Sport
- Affiliate with Surfing Australia and act as its South Australian affiliated member;
- Maintain and enhance the reputation of the Sport and the standards of play and behavior of Participants and
- Undertake and or do other things or activities that are necessary, incidental, or conducive to the advancement of these objectives
Skills that we are seeking include:
- Grant Writing and Sponsorship
- Marketing and Business Development
- Governance
We are actively seeking to improve gender balance and diversity on our board
