Seaford Boarders take the win at the 2025 SA Boardrider’s Battle

Published on 13/05/2026

Oct 2025: Seaford Boardriders Club delivered a dominant performance at the 2025 Regional South Australian Boardriders Battle held at The Bay, Middleton, taking out the overall win in excellent conditions across the day.

Clean 2–3 foot waves and light winds provided the perfect stage for some high-quality surfing, with large crowds lining the beach to watch clubs from across the state battle it out for regional bragging rights and a place in the national finals.

Adding to an already impressive day, Seaford also claimed the Team Spirit Award, highlighting the club’s strong camaraderie and support both in and out of the water throughout the event.

South Coast Boardriders finished in second place, while Seaview Road Boardriders secured third after a strong showing across the heats.

With their top two finish, both Seaford Boardriders Club and South Coast Boardriders have now qualified for the Australian Boardriders Battle National Finals at Burleigh Heads in early 2026, where they will represent South Australia against the country’s best boardrider clubs.

The event attracted strong competitor numbers and created an incredible atmosphere at Middleton throughout the day, showcasing the strength of South Australian surfing and club culture.

A huge thank you goes to all sponsors, organisers, volunteers and event crew who helped put on such a sick event and made the day such a success for competitors and spectators alike.
