A note from Madison Hurley

Published on 15/05/2026

After an incredible 15 months as General Manager of Surfing South Australia, today is my final day in the role.

It has been such a privilege to serve this community. From the Junior Surf Festival to the Southern Surf Festival, launching the Talent UNLSHD program for our junior female athletes, supporting our clubs and surf schools, and working alongside so many wonderful people across the South Australian surfing community, it has been a chapter I will never forget.

To the athletes, families, coaches, clubs, surf schools, volunteers and everyone who has shown up for surfing in South Australia, thank you. You are what makes this community so special!

SSA is in great hands and I have no doubt the best is yet to come for surfing in our state.

Catch you in the water!

Madi 🤙
