2025 Junior State Titles – Event Wrap Up

Published on 22/05/2025

The 2025 South Australian Junior State Titles have officially wrapped up after three thrilling rounds of competition showcasing the best up-and-coming surfing talent in the state.

Challenging Starts, Epic Finish

Rounds 1 and 2 kicked off at Middleton, where competitors faced tough, onshore surf conditions that put their skills and determination to the test. The final round delivered a stark contrast — held at Waitpinga, the juniors were treated to ideal conditions with clean 2–3 ft waves, light offshore winds, and perfectly formed banks.

Fierce Competition for National Spots

Over the three rounds, surfers battled it out for more than just podium finishes — they were competing for a coveted spot in the South Australian State Team that will head to the Australian Junior Surfing Championships, set to be held later this year right here in South Australia.

A Huge Thank You

This series wouldn’t be possible without the amazing support of our partners. A massive thank you to GLOBE for their ongoing support of junior surfing, as well as Sunbum and the incredible volunteers who make these events happen.

The official State Team will be announced soon, along with details of the presentation ceremony.
