South Australia’s stunning Fleurieu Peninsula will host the prestigious Australian Junior Surfing Titles in 2025, marking an exciting chapter for the nation’s premier junior surfing event. Scheduled to take place from 23rd – 30th November 2025, this elite event brings over 250 of the nation’s most talented junior surfers to iconic surf locations, including Middleton, Victor Harbor, Waitpinga, and Parsons Beaches.
Last held in these waters in 2018, this highly anticipated competition will showcase Australia’s brightest young surfers and is the final major counting event on the Surfing Australia National Junior Series, valued at 12000 rankings points. The male and female champions in the U16 and U18 divisions will earn the honour of representing Team Irukandjis at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in 2026, making this event the pinnacle of the Junior surfing pathway in Australia.

We’re thrilled to bring this iconic event to a region deeply connected to the ocean and surfing culture, showcase a new destination for all competitors, families and friends as well as inspire the next generation of local junior surfers”
The Fleurieu Peninsula, offers a dynamic and challenging arena for competitors looking to earn their place on a prestigious honor roll, joining the ranks of current and former World Tour competitors such as 8-time World Champion Stephanie Gilmore, Molly Picklum, Sally Fitzgibbons, Laura Enever, Tyler Wright, Nikki Van Dijk, Coco Cairns, Owen Wright, 2012 World Champion Joel Parkinson, 3-time World Champion Mick Fanning, and Reef Heazlewood.

About the Australian Junior Surfing Titles:
The Australian Junior Surfing Titles encompass individual divisions for U14 – U18 junior men and women and a school surfing division for U16 – U19 (MR Shield) junior men and women.
Champions in U16 and U18 men and women earn a spot on the Irukandjis team to represent Australia at the 2026 ISA World Junior Surfing Championship.
