SA CLUBS READY TO COMPETE IN THE nudie AUSTRALIAN BOARDRIDERS BATTLE IN SOUTH AUS THIS WEEKEND

South Australia’s top boardriding clubs are set to compete on the Fleurieu Peninsula this Saturday for the second event of the nudie Australian Boardriders Battle.
The nudie Australian Boardriders Battle is an unprecedented event series involving over 60 of Australia’s Boardriders Clubs in eight State qualifying events and culminating in a National Final for 24 clubs across two days on the 13th and 14th of February 2021.
Competition will be fierce as three clubs Seaford Boardriders, South Coast Boardriders and Seaview Roaders will be vying for the lone South Australian spot on offer in the national final.
Clubs will nominate a minimum of five surfers to represent them in an exciting and dynamic one-day event format. Each club will consist of 1x Under-18 Junior (male or female), 3x Opens (2 males & 1 female) and 1x Over-35 Master (male or female) that will showcase each clubs depth of talent.
Defending champions Seaford will be hoping to go back to back. South Coast Boardriders and the Roaders who have both fielded strong teams will be trying to cause and upset and grab a spot in the national finals in 2021
The nudie Australian Boardriders Battle will kick off on Saturday morning from approximately 9:30 am. The weather looks good and with northerly winds and solid swell forecast and at this stage we are hoping to run at Waits. We will confirm venue or socials, Instagram: SurfingSA and Facebook: Surfing South Australia.
